Current Experience

I noticed the existing flow is almost liner,  users have to drill down a lot to find the information they need and take unnecessary steps to navigate back.

Content on the screens consist of auto-play animations and plain text, without clear call-to-action.

Therefore users have very few egagement with the interface.

Opportunities

Replaced animations with fully interactive 3D image sequences to offer a more fluid and complete product experience.

1

Encourage customers to interact with specific parts, to understand how they work via exploded views, animations and product annotations

2

Implement both a display idle time-out and a sleep idle time-out to allow the system to fully run and save power.

Visual Treatment

Once we finalized the flow, we made sure that our redesign was created with the visual brand language in mind. Because the screens will be displayed on a transparent surface glass,

the UI elements were made to work flexibly with any background.

Outcome

The response we got from our clients was that the interactive display did better in catching the attention of the attendees and engaging them with their product and brand.

Brief

A 360-degree camera array installed on the floor screen of Nike Shanghai 001's center court. Users can walk to the center and trigger the count-down.

The moment they strike a pose, each camera is activated simultaneously to create the famous "bullet time" effect. The best moments of their shoots will be available on the NIKE exclusive applet.

What I Did

Using the Brand Guideline and taking into consideration the design pattern of WeChat & iPad, I produced reusable UI component designs and page templates for multiple screen resolutions.

Through testing with engineers, we made a few iterations and was able to deliver the best experience for both clients and their customers.
